1/30/2017 1 Comment architecturePhoto asignment #3This week I went to downtown Ann Arbor and shot some Architecture. It was started snowing in the middle of my shoot, so that made it hard with the lens getting snowflakes on it. Also, I was freezing cold so my hand shook, making some of my pictures a little blurry. Aperture: 3.5 Shutter Speed: 1/60 ISO:100
For the editing of this photo, I increased the contrast, lessened the shadows, increased the highlights, and increased the clarity.

While it was hard trying to get pictures in the middle of grocery shoppers, I am pretty proud of the results. Overall, I learned food needs a lot of light in order to look good. Aperture: 3.5 Shutter Speed: 1/40 ISO: 200
For the editing of this photo, I increased the contrast, brightened the highlights, and deepened the shadows. 1/19/2017 0 Comments MacroPHoto assignment #1This week I took on the task of shooting all in macro mode. I had so much fun because typically I don't shoot things up close, so it was a nice change for me. However, this week did pose its challenges for me. I had the most trouble with some of my pictures being blurry because I was working so up close, and because, sadly, I don't have the steadiest hands. In the end, I learned how to get those pictures to be less blurry and had fun noticing all the small details in things around me. Aperture: 3.5 Shutter Speed: 1/4 ISO: 100
For the editing of this photo, I increased the contrast to make the shadows and highlights pop more. I also made the shadows more prominent to almost make the photo more dramatic. Finally, I increased the clarity of the photo because macro was hard to do while still keeping the photo 100% clear. |
